Echizen, along with the Seigaku tennis club is getting a new anime film featuring their extraordinary tennis skills.
The Prince of Tennis franchise announced it at the third and last session of “TeniPuri Festa 2016 ~Kassen~” event and Takeshi Konomi himself made the announcement. Apart from that, he is going to serve as executive producer for the new movie of the anime series.
According to Konomi, the new movie of the Prince of Tennis franchise will cover the untold stories in the three months between the stories of the first Prince of Tennis manga and The New Prince of Tennis (Prince of Tennis 2).
“I think it’s going to be great. It will ‘double-cross’ (in a good way) your expectations, so please look forward to it.” Konomi added.
The new chapter’s release date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
